The new river cruise is available on both their Luxury and Essential holidays, taking guests from Magwe to Mandalay.
The 12-day Hidden Wonders of Myanmar Luxury River Cruise & Tour begins with a two night stay in Yangon at the luxurious Sule Shangri-La Hotel and the opportunity to visit the beautiful Shwenandaw Pagoda.
Following this, guests will head on to their 7-night river cruise aboard the RV Samatha along the Irrawaddy River, where they will enjoy APT Signature Experiences such as a sampan cruise as the sun sets behind U-Bein Bridge, with a drink in hand. Guests will absorb the culture and immerse themselves in this incredible country, exploring the striking pagodas, watching the one-legged fisherman at Inle Lake, and have the chance to take a hot air balloon ride over breathtaking Bagan.
For those who love experiencing the local cuisine, APT Ambassador and acclaimed chef Luke Nguyen will host an exclusive departure in October 2020. He will take guests to discover the local street food, prepare a superb dining experience and host a cooking presentation, among other activities.
