Illuminated Gateway of India & Taj Mahal Hotel

‘Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’- This popular quote actually means its ‘perception’ that matters. The city of Mumbai has its own good, bad and ugly side and now with the lockdown restrictions a sad side too has got added to it, as many people have lost their jobs & loved ones due to the pandemic. In such a gloom its important to reset one’s balance by observing nature or art. As per the Oxford dictionary Art is defined as- ‘the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.’ Writing & Photography are two art forms which I love practicing on a regular basis. It helps me cut off from the chaos of life and to ‘get formatted’ in my mind. Here’s presenting few photographs from my past collection, in which I have attempted to capture the beauty of Mumbai which was ‘perceived’ from my eyes! May the beauty enter your eyes and help you reset your hope and ambition to bounce back with positive spirit and accordingly gear up for the post-pandemic life. Amen!
