Heather delights the tourists who come to Clarksdale, Ms – All ages of fans from every part of the world love this up and coming blues band. Heather has earned her stripes so to speak and it shows by her command of the stage. She encourages the fans to dance and is known to throw in a little Reggae or a country song or two if this pleases the crowd. Book one of the Delta’s favorites. Heather Crosse and the SweeTones perform at some of the most prestigious festivals such as the King Biscuit Festival, the Sunflower Blues Festival and the Hot Springs Blues Festival. She performed in Canada at The Southside Shuffle. Heather Crosse with her band The SweeTones is a regular at Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, MS. While performing with her Bass Guitar, she uses her compelling gravelly blues voice to give her audience a dynamite show.
Heather Crosse was part of the Morgan Freeman Blessissippi Concert which included artists such as Marie Muldaur and Bill Payne. She also opened for Paul Thorne at Ground Zero Blues Club and opened for and backed Bernie Marsden also at Ground Zero Blues Club. She has shared the stage with musicians such as Bob Margolin and Bob Corritorre.
Heather Crosse gained international stage experience touring for four years with blues musician Super Chikan & the Fighting Cocks. During her four years touring with international blues musician Super Chikan the tours took them to throughout the U.S. and Mexico. She also backed Terry Big T Williams at the Chicago Blues Festival.
Presently Heather is in the process of recording her first CD, but has already released her trademark song called “Why Does a Woman Need A Bass Guitar”. The song was released on a Blues Women International compilation CD. The song is being played nationally and internationally on many radio stations. Check out Heather performing live at Ground Zero.

When she is not performing Heather is a music educator for the Tutwiler Community Education Center. Heather Crosse lives in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
