A Stranger in Vegas. From Vegas to North Carolina.
Las Vegas is the place for opportunities and cultural differenciation. It’s busy, active, and crowded. I am at the time when I need a less dynamic, quiet life. I made enough in Las Vegas for a living but I’ve as well spent a lot of money, on the necessary and the unnecessary stuff. Today, I need a place to slow the paste down. Money is the key to all the doors, the door of family, the door of love, the door of career, the door of respect..etc.
The Vegas’ life style would keep my doors locked. Also, Vegas has been introduced to the world as the notorious perfect place which leads people to lose the insight for a lot of things burning within. I have made a small research about the states that are worth moving to. Then, I’ve asked a couple of people and North Carolina seemed to win the vote. I have learnt that when something that has a 01% chance of making a change hits my mind, I take no second thought and I get into it. I packed up and left on the soonest flight. I have been for few days now. I feel like I am a little bit confused, or lost. For now, all I know is that the reason can’t be but two ; it is just a passing phase, or this is too much quiteness for me. I hope it is just a phase. Other than that, Charlotte, North Carolina is pretty and refreshing. I haven’t been out exploring yet except to the mall. There are a variety of brands that I like. I definitely like the food taste of North Carolina. Unlike Vegas, I think the food here is healthier. I will have to pay a lot of visits to these food places. The infrastructure of North Carolina reminds me of downtown Fort Smith. Besides, most of the people live somehow in the forest or so close to it. And so, I see pets as much as I see people. I still have no idea about the history and traditions and the sights but I have a feeling that there is a lot to discover.
