Welsh Witterings: Cheers to a New Magazine


Well, I feel that a fanfare should play as I announce that my online magazine, will be launched this coming May. It’s been a long time in the making and I did wonder at times if I would ever reach the launch date stage, but here I am with my first copy ready for launch next month.

Launching a new magazine has not been an easy task.  I never went into the venture thinking that it would be a walk in the park, but gracious me,  it really has been a labour of love. Indeed it has taken a lot of effort and twice as long as anticipated, but I was delighted to see the finished result.

I’ve had some lovely contributors for my first edition and I hope that once the magazine is up and running I’ll attract some more. I really see the launch as the beginning as I know I have a long way to go and a lot of writing and researching to fit in for the  second magazine which will be published in October. I’ve written for other people’s magazines for long enough to know that the next deadline will come around in a flash.MOCKUP-1

The magazine is focused on cocktails and drinks, these don’t have to be alcoholic, and I will be featuring good drinks for those who want a tasty tipple without alcohol. I’m also featuring articles on drinking venues, old drinking haunts and those colourful characters from history who enjoyed a snifter or two.

I can’t wait to see the fully functional website and be up and running with the magazine, but I won’t need much more patience…thankfully. I shall most certainly be sharing details of the launch and a few cocktail related articles in the future.
