Mega Fun in Store for MegaCon Live at Birmingham NEC

 

Ann Evans brings you news of MegaCon Live and Kidtropolis event coming to the Birmingham NEC next weekend.

Have you got your tickets yet for MegaCon Live? The two-day show takes place on 26th and 27th March and there’s some mega fun lined up that you won’t want to miss.

This popular show is a blend of pop culture combined with a range of feature zones such as Sci Fi, Steampunk, Anime, Manga, Yu Gi Oh, Video Games, Movies, Stormtroopers, Cosplay and more. The show also incorporates the Kidtropolis Mega Zone for 4 to 10-year-olds where youngsters can enjoy the World of Adventure’s 200ft long kids inflatable assault course, an ice rink and kids’ bumpers.

Visitors can discover some unique and talented people in the Creator’s Village, as independent artists and writers display and sell their own artwork and written work.

MegaCon Live is certainly the place to be if you enjoy meeting stars of TV, film and games. There’s a host of famous faces lined up to appear at the show including John Barrowman, David Bradley, Danny John Jules, Robert Llewellyn, a line of up of Doctor Who stars including Colin Baker, Peter Davison, Nicola Bryant and Paul McGann. Autographs and photographs have to be paid for, but if your favourite star is in the line-up, you’ll agree it’s worth the cost.

Additionally, there will be a multitude of stalls selling all kinds of merchandise and collectables – and perhaps best of all, the Cosplayers who dress in the most sensational of outfits, creating a fabulous atmosphere throughout the day.

Organisers Malo Events are no strangers to hosting great events in the UK such as Social in the City, TokFEST, Kidtropolis and Digital Kids Show as well as Comic Con Ireland. And the event is powered by co-founder of MCM Comic Con Bryan Cooney and his team.
