The MSC Seaside

Last week, I was one of the happy few to be invited to stay on board the MSC Seaside, the new beautiful cruise ship of MSC Cruises when she leaves the Ficantieri dockyards to join the Trieste harbour in Northern Adriatic Sea.  The President of the Italian Republic was there to honour this event, and soon MSC for the first time hoisted his flag on the Seaside.

The Seaside in Triesteharbour

The MSC Seaside is the biggest cruise ship of MSC fleet, just a bit longer than the MSC Meraviglia that was launched a few months ago. And the MSC Seaview, sister ship of the Seaside will be delivered in next June. Don’t be surprise, MSC Cruises is spending 10.5 billions Euros in ordering ten more new huge ships that will be delivered one each year until 2016.

From Christmas, the MSC Seaside will be based in Miami and will cruise in the Caribbean region, going from island to island. And the MSC Seaview will cruise in Europe from June through Mediterranean Sea and in Northern Europe.

I want not to tell you all details of this incredible ship. There are more than 2.000 cabins on board and 75% of the cabins have their own large balcony, that’s a real treat. What also makes the difference with other cruise ships is the very large circular deck that offers a perfect view over the sea.

And now you have just to discover the MSC Seaside through this selection of photos, and dream to your next cruise.
