A Place to Stay; Premier Inn, Leek
Situated in a busy little market town of Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands, this hotel features new generation bedrooms, each with an impressive 40″ flat screen TV, fresh new bathroom and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed. (They were very good!)
It has a great location for the town centre being only two minutes away and also it’s only a 20 minute drive from Alton Towers. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and you have an interesting choice of dishes, however I can’t comment on the quality as we didn’t eat there in the evenings.
The breakfasts start at 6:30 were very good and getting a cup of coffee or just having a drink in the bar at night was no problem at all.
You do have to pay for the car park attached to the hotel (£2.50 per day) and there is a machine just inside the entrance to do this by card or cash.
The rooms were clean and spacious with coffee and tea and the bathroom had a shower in the bath which you had step into. Towels were very clean and comfy.
Like all Premier Inns it’s great for a short say and offers excellent value for money. The hotel has accessible rooms, Wet room and bathroom
