It’s full of character and it’s a very popular place to spend the night after a party, or while exploring the area.

East Grinstead is down the road, or in other directions are Lewes, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, Haywards Heath, or the M1.

The Chequers has 13 bedrooms, plus four in the Annexe.

The food is very good, and the service is top quality from Manager Steve and his staff.

All the bedrooms are amazing, and not what you expect when you arrive outside!

They really are top quality.
